TARTAFERRO
One day I wondered… why don’t I dare and combine metal with clay? My tartaferro are just this: the synergy of clay and iron.
The warm colour of the rusty metal with its old feel, combined with enamel, copper and gold are perfect to represent my muses.
They are all realised with techniques of traditional majolica and reduction firing. They are all scrupulously hand painted.
